Membership Account

Q1. Do I need to pay to become a member of Embassy of Babies?

No. Being a member of Embassy of Babies (EOB Club) is FREE! By signing up and login into your account, you can participate in our contests for Free. You will be able to download our bi-monthly E-Magazines -CUTE BABYHOOD and A FOR APPLE for free too. There are also some templates that members can use for their personal needs. All these at absolutely no cost to our members.

Q2. Why can’t I login to my account?

When you have sign up as a member on Embassy of Babies website, an activation email containing a verification link is sent to your registered email account. You need to click on the link to activate your account before you can login to participate in the contests or download our e-files. If you have not click on the verification link, you cannot use the Forget Password form and/or sign up for another similar account as our system has a record of your particulars through the previous sign up.

Q3. I did not receive the activation email to activate my membership account.

Please do check your spam folder as the activation email might have went there instead. In any case that you did not received the email; please write to mail@embassyofbabies.com with your registered email address. Our technical support team will do an activation for you within 3-5 working days.

Q4. I have accidentally deleted my activation email. How do I activate my account?

Please write to mail@embassyofbabies.com with your registered email address. Our technical support team will do an activation for you within 3-5 working days.

Q5. I have tried to retrieve my lost password, but the system tells me that my email is not valid.

You need to activate your account before you can use the Forgot Password entry. If you have not received any activation email, please write to mail@embassyofbabies.com with your registered email address. Our technical support team will do an activation for you within 3-5 working days.

Q6. Where can I change or update my particulars for my member account?

To change your details under your EOB Club member's account, click on 'Member Profile' found at the top right hand corner of your screen upon login.

Q7. How do I get updates on Embassy of Babies news and periodical promotions?

Embassy of Babies sent our electronic newsletter monthly. To stay in tune with news of Embassy of Babies, special promotions and more, you need to check the box to subscribe to our electronic newsletter. You can do so by clicking on 'Member Profile' found at the top right hand corner of your screen upon login. Scroll down the screen to find 'Subscribe to Newsletter'.

Baby Ambassador Award

Q1. How can my baby be a Baby Ambassador of Embassy of Babies?

Periodically, we will choose babies as our Baby Ambassadors. To be eligible to become a Baby Ambassador of Embassy of Babies, you must nominate your baby in our Monthly Cutest Baby Contest. Our panel of judges will shortlist the babies and posts their photos on Embassy of Babies Facebook account for voting. The baby with the most votes will be conferred this highest prestige award - Baby Ambassador*. 
Our Baby Ambassador will receive a FREE photography session and the parent will get to take home these precious photographs.

Q2. What are the roles of a Baby Ambassador?

Our Baby Ambassador will front all of Embassy of Babies media, i.e. website, advertisements, magazines and brochures and etc.

Q3. Who are your panel of judges?

Our panel of judges consists of the staff of Embassy of Babies, mothers, influential personnel from other baby related companies and etc.
We do not stick to the same panel of judges. We will invite different personnel to help shortlist our Baby Ambassadors.

Q4. You have one of the ugliest babies ever as your Baby Ambassador. How is this so?

The Baby Ambassador was selected based on many criteria and voting from our supporters at Facebook. Hence, criteria are not restricted to cutest, sweetest, most beautiful, and most handsome, etc. The Baby Ambassador will only be shortlisted from all the baby contestants who took part in our Cutest Baby Contest. We do not look at the Cutest Baby Contest results alone to determine the babies shortlisted.
At Embassy of Babies, we firmly believe that ALL BABIES ARE CUTE.
The decision is final and Embassy of Babies reserves the right for appointing the Baby Ambassador.

Q5. How is it fair for all of the other kids when you already picked a so-called ambassador when the baby is still running in the contest?

All the baby contestants can take part in our FREE Cutest Baby Contests consecutively on a monthly basis and we do not look at the Cutest Baby results to determine the babies shortlisted.
We do not restrict the rights of parents or participants who wish to participate monthly. For example, a baby can take part in Aug 2010, Sep 2010, Oct 2010 and so on. All members may also vote on a monthly basis and take part in consecutive contests.

Monthly Cutest Baby Contest

Q1. Why are the vote numbers not shown during the contest?

We have decided not to display the vote numbers as we do not want to influence or sway voters towards a particular baby contestant.
However, parents or nominators who have nominated the babies can view the number of votes of their entries only under their Member Profile upon login. Please note that numbers may fluctuate as members can change their votes until the end of the month's contest.

Q2. Why can’t I load my photo for the Cutest Baby Contest?

We want to ensure that all the babiesí photos turn out well on the website, we need to pose these strict criteria for photos that will be uploaded to our website. For all nominations, a photo with a dimension of W300 x H450 or W450 x H300 for portrait or landscape photo is needed respectively. We suggest that you use either Photoshop or Microsoft Office Picture Manager to do the resizing. 
If you need help to resize the photo, please email it to mail@embassyofbabies.com.

Q3. Why is the photo of my baby not reflected on the website when I have submitted my nomination?

All our baby nominations made in the current month will be reflected on our website next month and so on. For example, if you have made your nomination on and before 31 Oct 2010, your baby will be participating in the Cutest Baby Contest for the month of Nov 2010. Voting starts on every first day of the next month.
This is implemented so that nominations made towards the end of the month will not be in any disadvantage compare to other babies; in terms of time to gather votes and etc.

Q4. I wish to nominate my twins* in the contest, but I can only submit one nomination per category. Please advise?

For twins* nomination, we advise members to nominate as one entry, i.e. a photograph showing all your babies. This is because it will be unfair to the other twin as each member can only vote once in each category.

If the twins* won the contest, we will be pleased to present an additional $20 Shopping Vouchers** to each additional baby.

 

* Also refer to triplets and more.

** Type of Shopping Vouchers will be decided by Embassy of Babies.

Q5. Can I change the nomination details and photo for my baby after I have submitted it?

Yes. Members can change the photo and details of their nominations now when they login. Click on the 'Member Profile' found at the top right hand corner of the screen and click on Nominations tab.
Members will be able to see nominations for next month, current contest and past contests. Please note that only entries for the next month contest can be changed or deleted. Once there is a change, Embassy of Babies will need to approve your nomination again before it will be uploaded for voting next month. 
Current contest entries and past contest are for your viewing and information only. Members will also be able to check the number of votes for them too. Please note that entries for past contest that are more than 3 months will not be displayed.

Monthly Lucky Draw

Q1. Why is it that everyone has only a vote each category?

To ensure that no one manipulates the Cutest Baby Contest and Lucky Draw final results, we need to track and monitor the voting system. By having only one vote per category, we can be sure that the votes that each baby gets are just and fair. 

Q2. Will only those who voted for the Cutest Baby Winner be entitled to participate in the Lucky Draw?

No. We want to give everyone a chance in this Lucky Draw. By allowing all voters to be eligible, we do not set the contest in a way that the members need to guess who will be the baby winner. Instead, we encourage all voters to look through the photographs before deciding on the baby that they think is the cutest. 
Each member is entitled to a maximum of 3 chances every month.

Q3. Can I change my vote for other baby?

Yes. Members can change their votes when they login. Click on the 'Member Profile' found at the top right hand corner of the screen and click on Votes tab.
Members will be able to see the baby they have voted in each category and the number of chances they have in the monthly lucky draw. To vote for other baby, members need to first delete their vote for that particular baby and proceed to Vote for Baby. 

E-Magazines Publication and Templates Download

Q1. Do I need to pay for the e-magazines?

No. Members do not need to pay for them. However, they need to sign up as members and login to download it for FREE.

Q2. Where can I download the e-magazines?

Please go to our Downloads page to download the e-magazines and templates for free.

Q3. Do you give or sell the e-magazines in hardcopies?

Currently, Embassy of Babies only produces the e-magazines electronically. Members can only get their FREE copies at the Downloads page.

Q2. How do I advertise my products or services on the Embassy of Babies website?

As we treat all our members and nominations details private and confidential, you need to write in to mail@embassyofbabies.com and we will seek the permission of the parent before we can allow you to contact them.
